Ezicad makes COGO easy!

Cogo routines within Ezicad provide you with a complete range of coordinate geometry tools to allow any layout, from a subdivision to footing details to be designed quickly and efficiently, in 3 dimensions if necessary.

Curve Calculations allow the efficient resolution of circular and spiral curve problems, and the "what if " scenario is easily handled by allowing you to alter one curve parameter and see its effect before making the decision to store the points.

Route Design is simplified by allowing you to specify I.P 's and curve and spiral details. 
Interchanges can be defined using simple curves, or curves combined with equal/unequal spirals.

Road Intersections are easily calculated with all major configurations of intersections being catered for.

• Road Layout
allows you to automatically calculate and store side strings from a finished alignment.

• Stakeout
allows easy calculation and location of buildings at specified distances from boundaries.
Setting out sheets are quickly and easily produced to maximize the efficiency of the field party, and the design coordinates can be uploaded to field instrument where required.

Area and minimum area calculations are handled easily to allow you to design and check subdivision layouts efficiently.

Structures - commonly used designs, in both 2D and 3D, can be stored as "Structures" and inserted into new projects to save time and avoid mistakes.

Quality Assurance routines allow checking of field points against their design position with reporting for those out of tolerance either in position or height.
